Accredited Investor Criteria
Individual Requirements
At least one of the following criteria must be met:
- Minimum income of S$300,000 in the last 12 months (or foreign currency equivalent)
- Net personal assets exceeding S$2 million (primary residence contributes a maximum of S$1 million)
- Net Financial Assets exceeding S$1 million (or foreign currency equivalent)
Corporate / Trust / Partnership / Entity Requirements
- Net assets exceeding S$10 million OR share capital entirely owned by accredited investors
- Trust property exceeding S$10 million OR all beneficiaries/settlors are accredited investors
- All partners are accredited investors
- Other entities with net assets exceeding S$10 million
Institutional Investor Criteria
- Singapore Government entities and statutory boards
- Foreign central banks and governments
- Multilateral agencies and international organizations
- Licensed banks, merchant banks, finance companies, insurance companies
- Capital markets license holders and recognized exchanges
- Foreign entities, pension funds, collective investment schemes
- Other persons prescribed by Singapore's Monetary Authority
